Citing Your Sources

Nervous about citing sources in your paper?  Don't be!  The library has a superb tool called Noodletools to help you build your citation skills.  The Librarian can easily help you create your Noodletools account.

We strongly recommend using Noodletools over other free formating sites because:

  • you're guaranteed accurate and updated citations that your teachers will love
  • you get your own account which can store all of your citations
  • you'll be able to export a properly formatted citation page for your paper!

Yes, there are other citation generating tools out there but they do not help you learn the skills to cite on your own and they may be using outdated versions of the MLA guidelines.
